agent installation manually :

when agent is installed manually on a system on/off network, let the agent sw check for the system pre-requisites to establish effective communication between the agent & server, such as firewall settings, file sharing, blank admin pw, availability of open ports etc. & modify these settings with explicit user (administrator) permission or ask user to do. this way you don't end up with an machine with agent installed & still unable to communicate properly with server when activation is reqd or sw push is attempted.

all-in-one installer : similarly the AIO installer must also incorporate the above checks. further the license activation must happen direct on internet, in case the era server is unreachable temporarily. this will save lot of time. or the AIO installer must incorporate offline activation key within itself.
