Primary DB services is SQL Server (ERASQL) which seems to be running, SQL Server Agent is not supposed to be running permanently but rather it is started when required directly by DB.

In case you have problems with ERA startup after upgrade to 6.5, check SERVER's trace log for startup issues.

I am not sure I understand correctly - is there any problem with ERA?

Service named "SQL Server (ERASQL)" is where ERA is connecting and where data is stored. This is service that has to be running so that ERA can work properly.

Service named "SQL Server Agent (ERASQL)" is helper service that is started only to perform specific automated task (see MS documentation) and it is normal that it is not running for most of the time.

Hungtt - I think Martin tries to tell you "SQL Server Agent" is not suppose to be in "running" state all the time. only when "SQL Server" requires it will be running. so don't worry about it.

IF "SQL Server" is not running, it would be a problem, because all the database is working through this process.

Hope this clears this one out.
