Zulgrib 0
Hello, Are there plans to officially support MariaDB as database backend? For some reasons, some business wishes to avoid oracle products as much as possible. Thanks
ESET Moderators foneil 342 Posted March 3, 2017 ESET Moderators Share Posted March 3, 2017 The only information I have is that there has been a market request already to add MariaDB, but I don't know how long that could take. As you know, it's not officially supported, but we are aware of its use--if it is was added to future build, we would be sure to clearly communicate that and update the FAQ as well: http://help.eset.com/era_install/64/en-US/index.html?faq.htm Can I use MariaDB instead of MySQL? MariaDB is a default database in many Linux environments, however, it is not supported by ESET Remote Administrator! Please make sure to install MySQL for ESET Remote Administrator to work properly.
