ESET Staff MichalJ 430 Posted March 2, 2017 ESET Staff Share Posted March 2, 2017 Could you please provide more details? - how is the client getting updates of modules? Are you using a local mirror, or a proxy server? - if the client was activated by offline file, and it does not report functionality problem / status as "product not activated" it should be activated normally. - where is the error you have mentioned "could not reach activation server" manifesting? Is it displayed in ERA? Is it displayed in the local client application? What is the status of such computer? Could you provide screenshot of the Endpoint state? ESET Staff MichalJ 430 Posted March 2, 2017 ESET Staff Share Posted March 2, 2017 If that is in the event log, that´s not a problem. Basically application is set to try to connect to the licensing servers even in case it was activated using the offline file (it´s anti-piracy mechanism). But you could be OK, that it´s running as it should, until the protection status is not changed.
