Unable to run ESET for Android

I installed ESET on my tablet running Android 5.0.1 the other day.  I'm not convinced it took me through all the installation steps, and now the icon does not appear on my desktop.  When I try to redo the installation, Google Play says it is already installed.  I don't see it in Settings under Apps either.  If I understand what I've read correctly, there should be a desktop icon, and without that, I don't know what to do!
