dont want OS update notification

because of my old iMac spec, i want to stay with OS 10.8.5 wich run well.     How can i stop OS update notification from Cyber Security ?

That shouldn't be the case. Is this the original notification before you turned it off? You may need to click on it once or restart your Mac for that message to disappear, and it should then prevent future notifications about macOS updates from appearing.

that shouldnt be the case but it is !!

the notification dont disappear if I restart my iMac.

My 10.8.5 version of OS X is a clean install by  Apple Genius Bar support technician.

many days later, an update for Canon printer appears in App Store.....     It could be the one Cyber Security notified me to install, and not OS X update.

Weird that Cyber Security notified me for an update that it was not currently available for days !!    Wow Eset, i was annoyed but now i am really impressed !!
