Bob 0
I'm running a programme called m-color (it's an AutoCAD add on package) which is installed on 3 pc's and uses one of the pc's as a license server. My problem is the other 2 pc's can't access the one running as the license server unless I disable the firewall. Where can I get information that will help me configure the firewall to allow the other 2 pc's access. I've looked in the knowledge base but see anything that would help. Any help would be gratefully received.
Administrators Marcos 4,703 Posted October 7, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 7, 2013 Have you tried switching the firewall to learning mode for a while until the necessary rule is created?
Bob 0
Thanks for the suggestion. I've just tried switching to learning mode. Whilst in learning mode I ran the software on the 2 client pc's and they both accessed the license server fine. I then switched back to automatic mode. The first pc is fine and can access the license server but the second pc's still can't? Is there somewhere where I can see the rule it created and could copy it and manually change the ip address? Administrators Solution Marcos 4,703 Posted October 7, 2013 Administrators Solution Share Posted October 7, 2013 You must switch to Automatic mode with exceptions for the created rules to be applied.
