ESET Endpoint Security for Android version 2.1.11.0 has been released and is available to download.

 Changelog:

  • Added: Full compatibility with permissions management introduced with Android 6
  • Added: Anti-Phishing support for Firefox, Opera, Opera Mini, Dolphin, Samsung, Android Browser
  • Added: Support for subscription licenses
  • Changed: Communication via toast messages minimized
  • Improved: Administrator contact displays on lock screen
  • Fixed: Anti-Phishing is unavailable in Chrome on Android 6 devices
  • Fixed: Unable to start an upgrade with the “Software Install” task from ESET Remote Administrator with the new version of EESA selected from the repository
  • Fixed: Wipe task failed on Android 5
  • Fixed: VSDB cannot be updated from mirror using SSL
  • Fixed: Various internal improvements
  • Fixed: Various bug fixes

Known issue:

  • Due to recent changes in Android 7.0, Google allows the user to deactivate an active device administrator and uninstall the application in a single action. Users can now uninstall EESA without entering the admin password.
