XINick 0 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Good morning all! We have recently acquired a client who's last tech had installed NOD32 Antivirus on every workstation. When we go to uninstall the current version we are prompted to enter a password to continue. The problem is that no one knows this password nor was it ever documented. Does anyone know how would we go ahead and bypass or reset this password? The desktop version is Nod32 Antivirus version 4.2.40.0 I currently have access to the NOD32 2.7 Control Center on the server side and I'm wondering if this is something I could do from here?
Solution XINick 0 Posted October 4, 2013 Author Solution Posted October 4, 2013 I seem to have answered me own question. After doing a little more googling I found a link on another forum to the process. For those of you who have come across this post with for the same reason you can find the how-to article here hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2289 Thanks

In such case, you'd need to resort to installing an ESET product on clients while using a custom configuration with no password set or push an uninstall package on the clients and then install a product package on the clients with no password set.
