HIPS Notification Google Chrome Extension

Hi,

we have HIPS activated in Eset Antivirus Endpoint with Best Practices Ransomware.

Now the Client's Endpoint wants to know if Google Chrome Extension is allowed to delete a Registry File?

Should i allow or deny that one? I think it tries to change Proxy settings? Its the "File Explorer" Extension which tries to do that.

How can i change my settings to deny or allow that to Google Chrome? I dont want to manually accept or deny that HIPS question on every client by myself.

Couldn't it be that you have HIPS set to Smart mode? It's not suitable for environments where you don't want to make decisions about suspicious operations and manually select an action. Switch it to Automatic mode.
