I was rebuildling my ESET Server from scratch today, and thought to myself, wouldn't it be nice if there were a MySQL section on the ESET forum to for ESET people to help each other with getting it all setup, customized, installed even?

Just food for thought.

I think he means more about SQL communication ports for firewall and which settings to use if on a database server, as far as which ESET settings will work best with that kind of query back and forth from client to server database.

Im just guessing though, but it sounds like a possible section to add. However we couldnt keep it just MySQL, we would need to have MS-SQL too and the other lot. :)
