monitoring ERA 6.4

Hi guys,

we have ESET ERA 6.4 installed and I wont monitoring some things from ERA to Zabbix. For examples will be nice see in Zabbix computer status (virus db, status, etc..)  Is something like that possible? Is exist some Zabbix template for ESET ERA?

Unfortunately I don't think there is plugin for Zabbix available, only few other management systems are supported (Kaseya, LabTech, ..., see ESET download page for more details)

 

There are technically two possibilities for data processing in external applications:

• implement your own ESET Remote Administrator Server Api based plugin, which involves c/c++ programming (documentation) and may not be very straightforward, especially when generating of reports is required.
• process CVS formatted reports (regularly dropped on disk) and import data into Zabbix if possible. Not sure whether it is possible in Zabbix...
