Getting close to time to renew eset.  Currently ess9. 

Can eset internet security 10 be "run over" ess10.

Or do i have to do an unistall of ess and purchase Eset internet security 10.

You can even download ESS v10 and install it over v9. Depends on whether you want to use Anti-Theft or not but even if not, upgrading to ESS v10 won't do any harm.

I notice that there is an 2017 Eset Internet security.

Is this different than Eset Smart Security, or just another name?

I am getting close to buying 2017 - does it matter if it is SMART security or INTERNET security.

i just paid for another 1 year subscript to ESS.  didnt have to uninstall & reinstall ESS as i would of with EIS

 

QUESTION.

Am i now eligible to upgrade to ESS 10

After upgrade i see i am still at ESS 9.0.408.0

How did you upgrade? Did you download ESET Live Installer v10 from ESET's website and ran it?

i paid with Visa online at Eset site.

They seemed to indicate that i was OK with ESS - that when i wanted to upgarde to ESS 10, i wwould be notified of an upgrade.

I did not recieve an update installer - i was just told i was now covered for another year.

I see my license is valid for another year.
