I made this post some time ago, but I didn't get a solution for this problem.

Windows 7 x64 appears unprotected with EIS 10. In the action center it says "Important message - Turn on Windows firewall"

ESET is obviously ON with all its modules working properly.

Did you try running the command: ecmd /registeravsoft and then rebooting?

Did you try running the command: ecmd /registeravsoft and then rebooting?

I did that because not even the ESET program was recognized as an antivirus in Windows. Now it's ok, but the firewall issue still remains in the action center.

the culprit is Windows, simply disable Windows firewall manually, disable the related message option in the action center.

Sadly, it's not. This issue did not exist in ESS 9, the team was well aware of the bug in EIS 10 beta and looks like the bug is now carried in the final release. It's sad to see that such a great program is declining version after version in terms of QC.
