Question: blocks eset smart security 9 the  ransomware?

 

I downloaded a rar file that contained a ramsonware ....
I noticed after I unpacked the rar file and run the .exe file.
Fortunately I've blocked

 

My s.o is windows 10, and I have eset smart security v 9.0.408.1

Ransomware is detected and blocked like any other malware. We encourage you to upgrade to v10 which also includes Ransomware protection to better protect you from ransomware that encrypts files (Filecoders). If possible, please provide more details about the executable and also submit it to samples[at]eset.com in an archive protected with the password "infected".
