Hi, I've been asked by a relative to find out which VPN works best with ESET. When I googled it I found there are potentially a lot of issues which would need a lot of messing around with settings. In this case the VPN is needed because they have to use a public network pretty much all the time. I read on one site that 'Private Internet Access' is a VPN which is compatible with ESET - does anyone have any experience of this? I'm ideally hoping to find a solution that's just 'download and get on with it' 🙂 but I do appreciate things don't often work that way! Any advice, experience and recom

Hello, We're using ESET Endpoint Antivirus version 7.2.2055.0 (older 7.x versions affected too) and have random problems while connecting to our corporate Watchguard VPN. If I delete ESET completely, VPN is working OK. I added two vpn exe modules to to "Protocol Filtering" - "Excluded applications". I added our VPN IP address to "Protocol Filtering" - "Excluded IP addresses". I added also vpn address to "allowed url list". Nothing helps, what else can be done?

Hello, I have done many tests to verify that it is not a coincidence. This is situation with ESET installed: This is situation without ESET installed (Windows Defender or Norton Antivirus): I can't solve the problem just disabling ESET protection & ESET Firewall, I am forced to uninstall ESET to solve it. NOTE 1: this problem occurs only with a VPN connection; NOTE 2: VPN connection speed is OK immediately after ESET installation, I have to reboot the system to encounter the problem. Please, do You have any advice? Here is some useful information: OS: Windows 10 PRO (1903), 6

I am opening the floor for discussions for those who have already configured this option from within ESET Secure Authentication. I am currently using the Windows Login and Remote Desktop configurations, but I would like to enable the VPN option. Upon successfully configuring Windows Login and Remote Desktop, I did test the VPN setup, but reverted the install as it blocked my RRAS connections. I suspect there are some settings I need to adjust, but I thought I could find wisdom here at the forum. I look forward to hearing your stories. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I have an issue in my internet connection and after several tests I found out that ESET firewall is the source of my concern. I selected the interactive mode but nothing shows up and after few minutes even if my WiFi connection is still up there is no flow, pages won't load. I can't find a solution so any help will be much appreciated. Thanks! Bruno

I have ESS 10 on a PC on my local network. I have a SSL VPN set up on my router so I can access my local network when abroad. My LAN IP's are 192.168.1.xxx. My VPN IP's are 10.1.1.xxx. I have tried every setting I could find but I cannot access this PC over the VPN. I am in interactive mode but have never gotten an alert when I try to connect. I have tried disabling IDS, adding the VPN IP to IDS exclusions and disabling HIPS. I have also set HIPS to log all events but I see nothing about my connection attempts in the logs. The only way I can connect via VPN is to "Pause firewall (all
