Hi, first of all, I shared a similar topic and my goal is to get advice. In consultation with experts, this extension a variant of EFI.CompuTrace.A I understood that it is not a rootkit or cyber attack, do you think I should ignore it or disable the computrace and do bios updates and I do not know how to do it if I disable the compute, will it damage the system \\Uefi Partition = UEFI = uefi:\\Volume 2\Firmware Volume Image {20BC8AC9-94D1-4208-AB28-5D673FD73486}\Volume 1\ComputraceComponents - EFI/CompuTrace.A Not dangerous for sure, right ?

Eset found such a detection and I investigated in detail, so I have to disable the computrace, but I do not know how to disable it. I am using Windows 10. How is the BIOS settings entered and disabled ?

Hello , I am encountering a Dell Optiplex 5250 (AIO) , when enabling unsafe applications scan , and scanning the UEFI (Deep Scan) it will show me a variant of EFI.CompuTrace.A , while the startup scan doesn't So I did understand that the BIOS is very old and should be updated , so I went to Dell website and downloaded the latest BIOS which is July 2019 , I have flashed the up-to date BIOS , and I scan again , ESET still detects the CompuTrace Can anyone explain to me more about the CompuTrace ? Thanks.
