Once my computer has booted up and NOD32 does its standard startup(check & update virus signature and startup scan) everything is fine but after a random amount of the time whether my computer is sitting idle or I am using it I have zero access to the internet. When this happens the NOD32 taskbar icon is constantly spinning and when I move my mouse over the icon it says "Startup scan...". The only way to stop NOD32 from doing whatever its doing is to force quit "egui.exe" from the Windows Task Manager but after some time has passed NOD32 will do this again over and over. Since the last update I started having audio issues, regardless of whether the source is from YouTube or an application like MusicBee. The "startup scan" runs about 3-4 times during the day and while it does my audio will start to stutter. I'm using a Bluetooth connected headphone.
Today I updated the eset Internet Security to v184.108.40.206 and I enabled the Startup Scan in the scheduler which I had disabled in the previous version 220.127.116.11 because of never ending startup scan which crippled the internet speeds. Now even after the update, the Startup Scan has been running for the more than a hour and it shows no sign of stopping. I would like to know what is the average time taken by startup scan because earlier to eset Internet Security v18.104.22.168 I never faced any problems with eset or the startup and eset was working fine. I am not happy with disabling the startup
