Sometimes, when I am using my Laptop, the CPU is suddenly very high, making the ventilation go fast, then I open Task Manager and the CPU drops down to normal, and the ventilation returns to normal. Yet this is more common when I leave the laptop alone, no application open, just the laptop, CPU & ventilator go high, and don't stop unless I open TM, then it drops to normal. It is quite a headache, as I have ran dozen of Eset S.S.P smart and also 100% scans, all the times no viruses are found. In the past my got infected, yet Eset found these viruses and eliminated them, now there is no viruses to be found anymore. My laptop is quite new, and I make sure I don't install insecure software, also I manually disable all the background services, and scheduled tasks that are not from Windows or imperative to run the OS. I also keep all my drivers up to date, and put special attention on keeping the ventilation of the laptop clean and functional. I wonder what can be done, how to "fix" this ghostly problem, as Eset S.S.P is unable to find the root cause of it.

So I have completely automated my deployment of ESET, and I'm so excited. From the first time a computer is PXE booted until I give it to the user, I will have 0 need to do anything in ESET other than verify that it is installed. However, I still have a backlog of machines that need something or another fixed. Currently, I have a dynamic group that will search for machines in AD every 15 minutes and it looks for machines that have the Agent but not EES. I then have a task that will trigger every time that group is changed and will automatically attempt to deploy the EES to the new machines. Most times it works flawlessly. However, there are times when the auto-deploy doesn't work. The task could be interrupted and the EES doesn't install. So how can I automate a retry on failed machines so that it will attempt to push it to machines that did not get the EES when they first joined the dynamic group? I could schedule a daily task, but what suggestions do you guys have? Maybe a CRON expression?

Hello everyone. Hello everyone. I have in my computer Avast Internet Security, but I also have ESET Online Scanner for on-demand scans. Today, I was scanning and it found 1 malware: the Avast Safezone installer. Here is the Virus Total link: https://www.virustotal.com/pt/file/6e5d95babebe7698afe08597d376cf896cdfa330eae32b82c9bb1f60d9170c15/analysis/1498964719/ The file is located at: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\SZBrowser\setup I'm almost sure it's a false positive, can anyone checks if I'm correct? Thank you

This box was forgotten and found recently. It is the very first version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus. The screenshots on the back of the package declares v1.49. It is original sealed package. This version was coded by the owners themselves. The language of application and package is native language - Slovak. Sealing on one side is a bit open but overall the package is in good condition. If you want to buy it, feel free to suggest the price.
