  1. Hi Forum, i‘m trying to build a modular device control whitelist: allow stick 123 for user abc allow devices from vendor xyz in group hij block all other I was trying to append the „block all“ last rule by policy order, but its really hard to keep the rule last - when i add another rule in a child group this ist added later (of course). is there any way to default-block (or default-warn) everything not explictily allowed? One idea would be, to throw all usb-rules in one policy, but that would get quite long. Thanks in advance! christian
  2. Hello, Our customer want to block tethering connection from usb smartphone with device control, but no luck. Block modem, portable device and even All device type still cannot block the connection. They said symantec can block tethering via device ID. IS there anyway to block tethering device. Thank you,
  3. Hi Guys, Hope you can help out - I'm having an issue with unblocking a specific couple of websites that are part of existing categories in the eset web control system. One website in question is categorised as a parked site and one a gaming site - I've tried adding these as a separate allow rule but this doesn't seem to override the categorised entry for the site - they still show as blocked as part of the category groups and I'm not prepared to open up an entire category for a couple of sites. Is there something I'm doing wrong by simply adding the sites as separate allow rules?
  4. Hi, How can I block WiFi driver/communication/signal from the Laptops using ESET Endpoint Security. If it is possible, please let me know.
  5. Hi all, we have experienced with the second customer now (the first one was not solved ) that after installation of Endpoint Antivirus, the employees can not connect their mobile phones and cameras to the computer. External drives are working correctly. All default settings of EEA. Cross OS. Even with after deselecting "integration with system" for device control with the system the issue continues. What is weird that even after un-installation the issue does not return back to normal (prior installation), having the team run a manual uninstall now to verify if it could be caused
  6. I have the device control (EEA V6.3) running on rule "All Device types" action "Block" users "ALL" logging "Informative" then unblock all the allowed devices individually. I'm having an issue when installing Windows 10 ESET is coming up with the attached message and the install fail's I've checked the Device control log on the PC and it's not populating and I’m unable to find anywhere on ERA 6 to see where the devices are logged (which used to be under device control log on ERA5). Can anyone suggest how to create an allow for internal HDD's
