  1. Meanwhile the only workaround seems to be disabling HTTP and HTTPS Scanner. This issue affects 2 notebooks I own, both have MBAM installed, I'll do a quick check if related to MBAM. Edit: Stopping MBAM does not fix the issue. Disabling HTTPS (SSL Scanning) should be enough, no? You're right, enabled HTTP again, helps to get rid of the warnings that web protection is disabled. I disabled both just to be safe, I'm covered by MBAM Premium Website Protection anyway. Indeed. IMO, its the software industry - with the OS manufacturers in the lead that creates more problems these days than they actually solve. Like I said elsewhere.... That's true I guess, but they sould maintain compatiblity anyway. I'd recommend anyone to stay aways from Windows and use Linux in general. I mean forced updates from windows update? Really? And if you choose to uninstall your AV software, Windows Defender auto-activates. When you proceed to turn it off (using MBAM Premium and Anti Exploit anyway), the switch to turn Windows Defender off literally says something like: "Turn off windows defender. (If windows defender is turned off for a period of time, it will automatically turn on again.) Straightout laughable, will they reenable it upon reboot? Tommorow? Next week? 10 minutes? If I wanted any stability, I'd turn away from windows as soon as possible. Okay, enough rant now
  2. Cpt. Obvious onboard maybe obvious for you, but judging by the post of fadi_nzr he might not know it. Sorry, I failed to read that post, you have my apologies I created a thread about incompatibility on the MBAE forum, you might want to check that out. The issues I listed on the first post are not related to MBAE, as I recently found out, they are caused by the ESET HTTPS scanner (even when MBAE unintalled), see this thread. But in case anyone still encounters issues related to MBAE, the devs there are trying their best to reproduce any problems, you might want to head to their forum.
  3. It appears I have also joined ESET at a very bad time. Also facing this issue, not on all sites, facebook works, but https://willhaben.at just gives connection reset even when disabling firewall and protection. As soon as uninstalled (no reboot) the site works again. Currently ESET is causing more issues for me than all of my previous AVs combined. But since I heard much good about ESET I trust it will be fixed in time. Meanwhile the only workaround seems to be disabling HTTP and HTTPS Scanner. This issue affects 2 notebooks I own, both have MBAM installed, I'll do a quick check if related to MBAM. Edit: Stopping MBAM does not fix the issue.
  4. https://forum.eset.com/topic/6682-firefox-crashes-in-the-presence-of-mbae/ Probably related.
  5. Malwarebytes products are designed to work simultanouesly to an AV like ESET, so people expect it to work. Would be nice to know if disabling ESET Anti exploit fixes the problems. Cpt. Obvious onboard
  6. The link hxxp://www.pcwelt.de/news/Antivirus-Software-fuer-Windows-10-im-Test-9851562.html?utm_source=best-of-pc-welt-manuell&utm_medium=email&uitm_campaign=newsletter&r=964606617093360&lid=466700&pm_ln=11does not produce any warning from MalwareBytes Premium for me.
  7. Will remember in the future. However, I thought I was fine using Node32, but it just turned out I'm anything but fine. Things started when I was trying to downlad a file from Mega.nz in firefox. There was no "website blocked message" or anything like that, just blank page. Nice I thought, let's try with Edge then. Edge could not be started, window straightout disappearing without any message half a second after starting it. Okay, tried IE, but IE just said something about HTTPS connection failed. When I tried to open cmd from Windows+R it failed to start, saying 0xc0000018 the application could not be started correctly, an error message which I have never seen before today afternoon, after I had installed ESET on another machine. The other machine runs ESET Smart Security, Malwarebytes Premium + AntiExploit, this one runs ESET Node32, Malwarebytes Premium and Anti Exploit. A reboot fixes the 0x18 error, but not the browser errors. For example, https://reddit.comdid not load any css, only plain text, tried multiple times with different browsers. As soon as I uninstalled Node32 (without rebooting yet), stylesheet is applied when loading reddit, so I'm 100% sure it's caused by ESET. I'm also pretty convinced that the application could not be started correctly error also comes from ESET, since I've never encoutered it prior to installing. Btw, both machines I was reffering to are completely different notebooks (in terms of hardware) running WIndows 10 x64, latest updated applied. I have no idea what's going on there, but ESET is really causing weird issues for me right now :s Edit: 0x0000018 error caused by Malwarebytes Anti Exploit, even without ESET installed.
  8. Can confirm this issue, I've just downloaded ESET for the first time today. Tested Nod32, alls fine, uninstalled (did not reboot), installed Internet Security, Firefox crashing since then, rebooted, reinstalled Firefox, still the following issues: Youtube would not load some images and video thumbnails, videos don't play. When selecting find plugins in firefox stylesheet is not applied. When trying to download an addon it will fail, however, you can search for addons. Random firefox crashes. So i uninstalled Internet security and went for Nod32 again, which fixed the problem.
