  1. Hi, Some workstations keep spamming me with these notifications: Updater: Switch DEVEL modules retval = 0x00005007 [NOT NEED] Updater: retval = 0x0000, failures: 0 Updater: retval = 0x5003, failures: 0 The virus definition database is updated to version 13356 (20160419). Server: Win2012 / SQL2012 / ERA 6.3.136.0 Workstations: Win7 pro / ESET Endpoint AV 6.3.2016.1 Agent: ERA Agent 6.3.136.0 The policy for desktop notification treshold is set to Errors Why is it sending me these notification as i set it to only trigger if there is a problem somewhere. Thanks in advance.
  2. No traces of a DB error in the trace.log. There are a lot of these errors in it: Error: NetworkModule [Thread xxx]: Container not found. Socket connection was probably closed., ResolvedIpAddress:x.x.x.x
  3. Hello, I'm using ESET Remote Administrator Server/Agent v6.3.136.0 on a win2012 server. This month workstations seem to stop connecting to the ERA 6 server a couple of times a day. (Last Connected information is not updated) After i restart the ESET Remote Administrator Server service the Last Connected information is up to date again. Only the workstation have this problem, ESET Endpoint Antivirus 6.3.2016.1 is installed. The servers (windows 2008 / 2012) with ESET File Security 6.2.12007.x don't have this problem.
  4. I already fixed it with the command msiexec /i hxxp://companysite/java/java.msi I guess the task "software installation" isn't the right way to do it.
  5. Hello people, I'm not able to install 3rd party software with the ESET Remote Administrator 6 console. I know it is possible because it worked in the past. The installer can be found at hxxp://companysite/java/java.exeor hxxp://companysite/java/java.msi and I'm able to browse to the file. I start a new task (software installation) from the ERA 6 console, select "install by direct package URL" and use this address "hxxp://companysite/java/java.exe" After a few seconds the progress of the task is: Task failed, try to install software manually. Trace Message: GetFile: Failed to process HTTP request (error code 20016, HTTP response code 403 url'hxxp://companysite/java/java.exe') I don't understand why the ESET agent is not able to find the file as i can reach, download and install the file manually from this address (hxxp://companysite/java/java.exe)%C2'> the cliënt workstation. Thanks in advance. ErikP
  6. Thanks, but discovery is not the main problem. I want to manage the workstations. When the workstation leaves our company lan there is no communication anymore between the agent that is located on the workstation and the ERA 6 Server.
  7. Hi Guys, I want ESET clients that are outside our local network to show up in the ERA 6 console. I have installed the ERA 6 Server and opened port 2222 on the firewall (log shows traffic is allowed on port 2222), on lan everything works fine, servers and workstation show up in the console, but cliënts outside our lan don't show up. Are there any ports except 2222 that need to be configurered on the firewall? Thanks in advance. ErikP
  8. Hi guys, I have installed the ERA 6 server and proxy on the same machine Windows 2012R2 both communicating through port 1433 with a SQL 2012 server, but the proxy service keeps shutting down. (The ports cannot be the same for server and proxy??) The evenlog shows this error: The ESET Remote Administrator Proxy service terminated with the following service-specific error: The remote server has been paused or is in the process of being started. Is it possible to install both on one server? or do server and proxy have to be installed on different servers? I want the outside world to only communicate with the ERA 6 server via the proxy service through port 2222 Thanks in advance ErikP
