Easily answered ... just get yourself ESET's product. I gave up trying other vendors software a long long time ago as there was always many reasons that brought me back to ESET every time. You get a free trial anyway , so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain

Most people prefer using Virustotal's free file analysis as it uses multiple vendors to check if a file is bad/suspicious. It could be argued that is better than just using a single vendors database.

I'm not getting any alert on the said web page. There can be many reasons for that, e.g. a different region, infected machine, compromised router, etc. You can provide ELC logs with also quarantined files collected for verification of the detection.

The documentation for any general releases are available from the offline installer page on the Eset website.

Under the advanced options for each particular download

The layout and most used features within the ESET gui are more accessible and easier to use than many of its peers. Being static does not detract from the product itself.

I doubt anyone would leave a good product behind for a bit of "eye candy" ☺️

    Hello,
Our service provider is currently having issues with deliverability to certain email domains, yours included; they have raised an issue with their upstream email provider.
In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Never heard of it, but ccleaner is free and probably does as much as this paid application.

Just a repeat of what @Marcos said above. ESET products are not an anti piracy solution but a security product. There are entities (bodies) that deal with piracy in general. The only connection is that a large volume of pirated products are generally where viruses and malware are placed and why ESET and other security products detect them.

The scare stories about windows 10 are exaggerated. It's a far more secure version of the o/s than previous versions. Like every release of windows, the driver support was poor at the start but its been out so long now that these issues are all overcome.

The installer in the new builds now gives you the option to disable all the things that people complained about on it's release (telemetry) .

It's been a great o/s from my point of view and never had any issues whatsoever

Funnily enough, i can run any second opinion scanners or firewalls without any trouble whatsoever and without exclusions. Only a second realtime scanner will cause problems. Nothing new and was even a issue back on windows 95 lol .
