Just a question given all the current issues on version 9 here in this forum.... I myself have also 2 issues reported. Might ESS9 (and maybe also other 2016-productlines, that I dont' know) be released to early in the market? Was the beta-periode too short? Weren't there enough testers? Maybe it's because all other vendors have their 2016-lineup released and ESET "must do as well"? I got back to version 8 (stable and does what I want at this moment). Maybe I'll give ESS9 a try somewhere next year.... or maybe I'll switch to another internet security-vendor when my subscription ends... too bad ESET sc***ed up with their 2016 lineup.

For some reason I think some protocol change or alike has snuck into v9. Like I stated, v8 doesn't have this and all went okay. And with competitive software vendors (KIS, Bitdefender) RDP-printing is also possible.

No, that's not the case! I would like to clarify this by screenshots, but for some reason I cannot upload/show these in this thread.

In other browsers (Firefox and Edge/Internet Explorer) the main login page is shown and not an offer to get ESET software. FF/Edge/IE show the correct behavior.

Any update yet?

When going to the the URL of www.rabobank.nl for internet banking, the following URL is displayed in Google Chrome (Version 46.0.2490.71 m) hxxp://www.eset.com/us/BPPRedirector/ESET-Redirect-Switch/?token=41bf57f30c5c72365b179dce (orange square Internetbankieren > Inloggen) I use ESS9, latest version and latest definitions. Looks like something is not going right here...

I disabled all settings; RDP printing worked. it turned out that only "Real time protection" is the only indicator in question that prevents from printing. HIPS worked turned on, as well as real-time firewall protection. Which setting is responsible for (ports to) RDP printing and how can I changed these in settings? And what is different in protocol handling or alike compared to v8?

Temp disabling does not work. I still can print regularly - so non-remote desktop connection. It has to do with ESET SS9 (in version 8 it did work, and also on another computer with Kaspersky installed)

I have ESET Smart Security 9 installed, but I am unable to print via Remote Desktop to my printer. This used to work under SS8, but for some apparent reason version 9 has blocked some connections to my printer.... What can be the case here? And most of all, how can this be solved?
