  1. We have ESET ERA installed on numerous servers. Every so often some client computers will have the following error in ERA: " Windows Security Center indicates that the feature is not installed or is not running properly" The computer also stops running the scheduled daily scans. When I access the computers ESET looks like it is running correctly with no errors, but in the scan logs it has indeed stopped running the daily scans. In programs section if I run a repair of the antivirus and agent along with a reboot the alert in ERA goes away and the computer will run the scans as scheduled. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening, or to repair it from ERA itself?

  2. Hello Everyone,

I hope that someone could help with this. We are using ESET Remote Administrator 6 for almost a year and this has not happened before. In ERA we have daily scans set to run at 12 PM and an in-depth scan that is set to run once a week also at 12 PM.  Since around daylights saving began, all computers are running the scan at 11 AM instead.

I first tried changing the time to 12:02 but that just made the computers run the scan at 11:02.

Today I also deleted the scheduled scans are recreated them none of the scans ran at 12 PM. This was done between 11 AM and 12 PM.  The deleting and recreating of the scans was done today so I have not seen what the behavior is at 11 AM. However at 12 PM the scans did not run.  I have checked that the time on the server is matching those of the desktops and laptops.

Does anyone know of what setting I should change to adjust this behavior. We have several other servers with ERA 6 and all of them are still running the scans at the correct time.

  3. In ERA 6 there are two computers that are both showing as unmanaged but also have the agent and antivirus installed and showing up in ERA as such. The last connected date is showing up as a blank. When I click the details however they show that they updated their virus definitions a few months ago. They are not currently connected to the network.

Any idea what could be causing this? I have other computers that have also not been online for a few months but they are showing as managed and are displaying the last connected date.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this? If the computers reconnect to the network do you think that this would solve the problem?
