  1. We have Version 6.2.2021.2 and on some machines we still have 5.x. I really can't explain the spike in CPU due to there where no scans etc. running. But it's striking that the problem occured at the same time on every machine so maybe there was an update causing this problem?
  2. Hi, since yesterday we have problems with several PCs in our network. I've found out that the ekrn.exe is responsible for an CPU usage from 60-100% and that it belongs to ESET. - We use Eset Endpoint Security 5 and 6. The problem occures on both versions. - All clients are up to date (v13369) - After restarting the machines it helped only temporary - All systems running on Win7 64-Bit - I also reinstalled a few clients and it helped so far...but we have a bit more machine so it's not a good solution Must be a general problem since it happens on nearly every machine?
  3. Hi, we're having problems with activating our Eset Endpoint Security 6.2. After I installed it on a new Computer/vm I noticed that it's not getting activated automatically via our ERA, so I tried to do it manually. Trying it manually I'm getting the error that the activation server could not be reached (Code: ECP.4099). Tried it on another machine with the same problem. We have a licence for 50 users and until now we only used about 25. We're using no proxy and we don't have any network problems. Moreover I'm waiting since Thursday for an answer from the Support...
  4. Hi there, we're using a Client Management System from which we're distributing software automated to the clients. But we have some problems with the silent installation of Eset 6 now. With version 5 it worked fine. Therefor we used ERAC to create an cfg.xml file to provide the configuration in the silent install. Now with version 6 there is no such option in the Remote Administrator Console anymore, so I exported the config directly from an installed and correctly configured Endpoint Security. So i put the exported xml file in the same directory as the .msi file and started the installation with the following command: msiexec /i ees_nt64_deu.msi /gb ADMINCFG="cfg.xml" The installation works but the configuration is not provided, so it installs the Personal Firewall which we don't want to use and I also have to activate the software. So the cfg.xml seemd to be ignored. Is there any possibility to silent install Eset Endpoint Security 6 with a cfg.xml which provides all configs correctly? EDIT: Installed ESET including the Firewall, deactivated it and then exported the config. Now the configs are ok with the silent install. But the activation still does not work automatically...
  5. Yes I tried many possibilities like Admin, Administrator... but nothing worked. I deleted and imported the appliance again in configured it. Now I was able to login with the password and the Administrator user.
  6. eraadmin is the password for the management console and this works fine. Otherwise I wouldn't been able to even configure the ovf.xml. I get stuck on THIS screen where I have to enter the user login name and password. The password is set in the ovf.xml but what about the login name?
  7. Hi, I've downloaded the latest appliance for Eset Remote Administrator and imported it to my ESXi Server via vSphere Client. I did everything step by step like it's said in THIS installation Guide. So after that I should be able to access the webinterface. This works fine but what is my login user name?! I only can set a passowrd in the ovf.xml and not the login name. In the INstallation Guide it only says "If this is your first login, please provide the credentials you entered during the Installation process. For more details about this screen, see Web Console login screen." This does not help me at all...Is there any default login? Already tried all typical thniogs like "Admin, Adminstrator..."
