I will be watching this thread as I have a customer with the same issue now that we upgraded a 2003 server to File Security version 6.2 over the Labor Day weekend. Will turn off Scan on open for now since this is a known workaround. This server pretty much gets used 24x7 so very hard to remove and restart it.
