  1. I have changed it today, will check it tomorrow. Also got the DG working, thanks. Will keep this posted.
  2. Thanks, i have set this to 7 days. Is the removal process automated? Because i still see devices in EBA that have a "last seen" over 7 days.
  3. Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to remove license from clients that have a last connection time of X minutes/hours/days/months. Is it also possible to grant a license when the client has an active connection time? We always have to keep track which computers are being forced out. Our other department reimages multiple computers daily and do not deactivate ESET first. Therefor i am looking to automate the license removing and granting process. Your reply is highly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. I have read through more ESET Online help guides and have made it work. thank you
  5. Hi, i am currently trying to setup device control that blocks all USB's except ones that we whitelist according to their serialnumber and vendor ID. Now i have created 2 policies and have tried playing with the policy hierarchy. This is the all USB block policy: This is the settings i have set. The following is a test i ran to see if the exception i create will go through the block policy. I have first made sure the block works, i also have an report what PC's has tried using an USB but has been blocked. according to that report i have taken the vendor, model and serial. The reasoning to instead choosing "allow" i have chosen "warn" is to make sure our users are consciously clicking on allow. When i apply the second exception policy, for some reason it gets confused and starts letting through all USB's and ignores both policies. Am i doing something wrong? i have also tried combining both in 1 policy. but it will just block everything.
  6. Hi, We have enforced a policy to block all USB data storage, except ones we allow by name and model. Now i want a report that shows who tried to use an USB besides our approved USB. see photo what i've created. Now i want to either filter on "user" that contains, but when i add the filter and set it on "contains" i am only able to use one. Is it possible to use multiple ? Option 2 would be to filter out the "NT Authority" but i cannot seem to find the correct filter for this.
  7. we have whitelisted the IP instead of dns, this solves our issue. can be closed.
  8. We have not modified any files regarding ESET, the user also does not have the rights to do so. I have checked the Windows host file for "52.160.70.199" or "edf.eset.com" but those entries are not present. We have just whitelisted the IP and will have to live with it. @Marcos What are the chances that the IP Address will change in the future?
  9. https://support.eset.com/en/kb332-ports-and-addresses-required-to-use-your-eset-product-with-a-third-party-firewall According to this it says it should also be 52.160.70.199 our firewall is also showing the block on 52.160.70.199 .
  10. Hi, When i tried to activate ESET through the activation server it says that it is not reachable. We noticed that our firewall blocked the connection, we have created a policy to allow the broadcast. however it looks like that the client connects through IP address(52.160.70.199) and not DNS name(edf.eset.com). How can we make sure the clients are connecting through DNS name and not IP Address?
  11. @MarcosWe are currently running ESET on Server version: Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) The provided link only shows how it is done for a Windows Server
  12. Hi, When visiting the ESET Management Tool portal it keeps popping up with a warning that the connection is not private. We have created a valid certificate for this but have no idea on how to import the certificate into ESET. You guys have any idea?
  13. This is the policy i created and applied from the ESET management tool. Does it take awhile for the policy to actually sync? Where can i raise a ticket?
