  1. I just communicated with Daniel B at ESET support about a related issue. ESET Protect update to version 9.1.2060 coincided with Windows Update to Win 10 22H2. My computer would not reboot after both installs ran -- I got a flashing blue/black screen. I was able to use a Dell utility to restore to a point a day or two earlier and get back up and running. Daniel B advised that Win 10 22H2 is not officially supported yet, so I should hold off on installing. However, after I paused Windows updates to remain on Win 10.0.19044 (21H2), and allowed the ESET update to 9.1.2060, the problem of the flashing blue/black screen returned. So, there appears to be a problem with the update to 9.1.2060 on my computer. It is a Dell Precision 7740 with NVidia Quadro RTX 3000. Based on the flashing screen, I have the feeling the issue is graphics related, but I'm no expert. Daniel B's parting advice was to use the ESET uninstall tool, then update to 22H2, then reinstall ESET Protect. I would be interested in any feedback from others who might have insight on whether this could be a unique problem with ESET on my hardware or other perspectives.
