  1. I experience the same problems. First device: WIN7 prof. 32-bit, folder d:\program files\eset Second device: WIN 10 prof. 64-bit, folder d:\program files\eset I upgrade by using the upgrade buttom in Eset SMART SECURITY 10. My solution was, to uninstall the app and reinstall again with enhanced downloads (full installation file). After this, the updates loading correct.
  2. Thank's I will try this. HTTP(S) and POP3(S) are working well. Only IMAP(S) cause this problem. If I disable IMAP-check in Eset Smart Security, IMAP will work.
  3. I experience, that IMAPS check with WIN7 works well, but fails under WIN XP. Port 993 or 143 TLS1.0 makes no different. Both computers contain the same mail-program and ESET 8.312. So the source must be in WIN XP, but what kind of limit?
  4. The fault came step by step during 10 minutes. Rightklick caused now the message "ekrn". I interrupted the network access. The harddisk is working without any idle and I will restore at the evening the harddisk from a disk image. Windows action center reports, that the firewall and ESET antivirus is not activ. It is not possible to activate it.
  5. I don't have installed this. B.T.W. : I have two more pc with obsolete Eset V7 (5 licences). This devices are working correct. Only the machines with V8 cause the fault.
