  1. The browser protection introduced in version 16 is great, but unfortunately you can't exclude certain apps from the control, in my case I can't use AutoHotKey with Edge. It would be very useful to be able to add a section with a list of excluded processes.
  2. Thanks so much for the explanation. Regarding non-full screen applications, isn't there a way to automatically activate it for some specific processes, whether they are in full screen or in window (without using the gui)? Maybe a command line parameter that I can insert in my scripts, like: "egui.exe -gamermodeon"; "egui.exe -gamermodeoff"
  3. Yes, the option you indicated is always active, but is it valid for any full-screen application or just video games? I don't use video games, but other equally demanding full screen applications.
  4. Hi, I wanted to ask if the player mode in NOD32 is also activated for other full screen applications that are not games, but which still require a lot of resources, or even for simple documents opened in reading mode that consume a maximum of 50MB of RAM. Would it also be possible to activate the game mode even for specific processes even if they are not in full screen without using the GUI? I wish I could activate game mode every time I launch Fusion 360 or Photoshop, but it's terrible to do this manually by opening and navigating the GUI.
  5. Ok thanks, then I'll wait for the problem to recur, and create the log file immediately after the event.
  6. Okay, I'm using Windows 11, so I could add it to the ignore list with confidence?
  7. You should have Windows indexing enabled and select the AppData \ Local folder among the paths to be indexed. Detection occurs when Windows search tries to access it. You should also have the wallpaper set for WinSpotlight and update.
  8. Can anyone else see or download them? I would prefer to send them to you by private message or by email.
  9. I am creating the log file with ESET Log Collector with the profile "Threat detection, do I always have to email it to the previous address?
  10. Done, I also inserted the xml file of the exported survey. The strange thing is that on virustotal or with the normal scan I don't get any detection, but only when wsearch accesses the file to index it. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file-analysis/MjY5NWUxZjk1MDFkY2M0ODk5ZGY1MDg2YzZiZmYzMjA6MTY1MTgzOTE2MQ==
  11. OK thanks. Does the archive have to be in .zip format? The email would be samples[at]eset.com right?
  12. Hi, I get this warning in which Nod32 finds an Exploit in the image files that are downloaded from the "Dynamic Theme" app, downloaded from the Microsoft Store. This app downloads daily Bing images and sets them as your desktop wallpaper, it does nothing else. Is this a false positive or should I worry?
