On Server Security version 8.0.12011.0
We plan our ESET updates to coincide with Windows monthly patching. This has worked previously with File Security, but have recently updated to Server Security.
A large number of servers (most of them) are still showing as "Computer Restart Required"
I have read this previously occurred due to fast start not performing a full restart. However, this is not applicable to Server 2016 as far as I can tell, and I understand ESET updates work similarly to OS updates, i.e. are applied upon restart. This has not happened this update cycle. Please advise, as some of these servers are not able to be randomly rebooted due to uptime/availability requirements
