  1. Nice. Where can I find this list in ESET Security on a client device?
  2. I already created a rule for this and it works but the firewall troubleshooting wizard sounds interesting... How can I use it? Anyway, after moving to ESET Security, Internet access is blocked and IM application seems to be working! Thanks.
  3. Ok, another problem showed up. I switched from ESET Antivirus to ESET Security but now I cannot use VNC... How to make an exception for this program?
  4. Oh, that's the reason, ok, I will try that again with ESET Endpoint Security. And this is a test policy so a password is not configured.
  5. I removed them from the Local tab but still no joy. The test computer still has Internet access.
  6. Hello all, I have a question regarding ESET Firewall settings. We need to block Internet access but allow one IM app to communicate outside to the world. Also the internal communication needs to be allowed. I created two rules... First of them blocks ports 80 and 443 in both directions, another allows xxx.exe executable file but this is not working at all. A test computers still have full Internet access. Am I missing anything? Thank you for your suggestions.
  7. Ok, I will start a new thread. How do I close this one? Can I mark multiple answers as solutions?
  8. So the computer handling while syncing the AD works. Thanks. However, I am not able to make the firewall rules work as I need. Can I ask for help and suggestions how to exactly configure it?
  9. Nice and nice. Thank you. I will test it and let you know
  10. The thing is that there is one IM app that needs to communicate with the outside world so we cannot block these ports. Maybe this one (question 4)... Thank you... But one thing is not clear for me. I can stop a static synchronization task so computers don't move around but when it comes to AD sync how to do it without computers moving around? Sorting and moving computers every single time I sync ESET with AD (several times a day) is just impossible. How do you deal with it in your AD environment?
  11. Marcos, any other idea how to block at least browsers? Is it possible to use wildcard characters while specifying the path to the executable file? And regarding other questions, may I ask for answers?
  12. Thank you Marcos. We don't have ESET Inspect. I got it, hopefully they'll implement a task cancellation soon.
