    Hello agasoft,

As we switched to a different GUI backend, everything had to be recreated from scratch. Adding support for screen readers is planned for one of the future versions.

A, yes. Thank you... Fortgive me because I am ironic, but, it will happen in version 17.

Support for screen readers (at least for JAWS) is already implemented in internal builds , but it needs to be tested and we will release an updated installers with screen readers support in coming weeks.

  2. Hi there,

I am really disappointed with versions 9.

As usual, antivirus companies dont think about blind users, working with screen readers.

You removed non-graphical interface, even from the installation screen.

Its now really hard to operate with screen readers.

Your security solutions was one of the last working with screen readers, but now, you made step backward.

Hi, this support is already implemented in our internal experimental builds, but it needs to be tested before public release, our plan is to release an updated build with screen readers support in the near future (but I can't promise any exact date yet).

  3. I almost think it would save a lot of time, effort and frustration if the installer detected the current build of Windows 10 and gave the stated explanation. However, not being a programmer I'm probably wrong. Of course a quick search of the forums would display the answer as well.

The issue with "incompatible" Win10 builds (published to Fast ring) will be solved in final v9 release.

  4. Hey!

I see in ESS 9 Beta grey on change license !

Will that change to fill in own license i got from Nod32  when is final later these year !

Yes, that's correct, beta version is pre-activated so there's no need to use a licence, but final release will require a valid license key to activate.

  5. OK, downloaded latest version, it's not fixed. In fact, it's as broken as before. Now my PC has no internet since it can't detect my networks and after uninstall it's the same. Tried installing ESS V8 and it won't initialize firewall at all. This broke my computer completely and I'm still trying to find a way to get my internet connection back.

What the hell have you done with this product, and please don't blame it on microsoft for not giving you driver modules or whatever, because that 'information' is a lie. You haven't fixed this problem in months now, putting the blame on Microsoft.

Uninstallation of epfw driver should resolve this issue, please check your network adapter>properties> uninstall epfw NDIS LightWeight filter .

  6. Will v9 have SysRescue again? I.e. the selfmade WindowsPE-based from ADK Version, not "Live"-Linux-based downloaded ISO.

In current Beta there's just a Link to the SysRescue-Live-ISO.

WinPE-based one had better perfomance (imho) and far better Hardware support, since you could integrate or load your own Windows-drivers. Also you could integrate other tools into your WinPE-media.

There will be no WinPE based SysRescue in v9, only Linux based LiveCd will be used.

  7. Hey!

Is there option to change to another browser an IE11 will test on Microsoft Edge!!!

Unfortunatelly this is a technical limitation of Edge browser, it's not possible to open this browser as a secondary instance, so this is a workaround for now, IE 11 is opened in secured environment instead of Edge.

due to eset high reputation, I expected more reactity and more openmindedness to communicate with their beta testers.I switch to Kasperky

A new v9 build with full Win10 RTM compatibility will be released by the beginning of next week (before official Win10 release), we just needed to check if everything's compatible with "zero day update package" that will be released on July 29th.

Updated installer packages with Win 10 RTM compatible modules are available on hxxp://www.eset.com/int/download/beta-versions/
