  1. This may help. ESET support sent it to me. Please follow the steps below to disable alerts regarding Anti-Phishing being disabled and non-functional: 1. Open ESET Remote Administrator and navigate to Admin -> Policies. 2. Edit an existing policy for ESET Endpoint or create a new policy. 3. In the policy, navigate to User Interface. 4. Click Edit next to Application statuses. 5. Expand Anti-Phishing Protection. 6. Disable Show and Send for both disabled and non-functional. 7. Click OK and Finish to save the settings.
  2. From ESET support We apologize for the inconvenience. This is a known bug in current build of ESET File Security. It has already been resolved and the fix will be implemented in next build (6.3.12002.0) which is planned to be released later this month.
  3. When using the ESET GUI to schedule DB scans the start times are skewed by 6 hours. I believe the Scheduler is using UTC and not applying the servers time zone of -6:00 Central Time. Example: Create a scheduling daily DB scan for 9:00PM in the GUI and look at the list of schedule tasks in ESET reports the start time as 3:00PM. And sure enough the scan starts at 3:00PM. So to scan at 9:00PM I have to schedule a 2:00AM scan. The only reason I ran across the issue was slowness complaints due to nightly scans running during business hours because of the time skew. This looks like a time zone issue with ESET's scheduling interface. Setup ESET Mail Security for Exchange 6.2.10012.0 Windows 2012 R2 (Fully patched) Exchange 2013 (Fully patched)
  4. Running ESET for Exchange version 6.2 with Exchange 2013. Used the ESET GUI to create a scheduled database scan. The scan fails with "Database scan could not be started. Scan account not set." in the ESET log files. The 6.2 install nor the schedule setup requested any Account. Anyone else having this issue.
  5. Closer ELA shows 12/11 units but lists the names of only 10 servers. Remote Administration shows 12 after a "Synchronize License" in License Management.
  6. After upgrading the ESET Remote Administrator management, ERA agents and ESET File Security to the latest versions the console now reports that the ESET File Security is over activated and some of the servers will not activate the updated ESET File Security. A generated "Installed Applications" report only shows 8 ESET File Security but the License Management screen shows 13. ESET support suggested: --Try deactivating all the servers from ELA, and then send another activation task. But unable to deactivate keys. If the top box is selected (normally select all) and then the “DEACTIVATE” button at the bottom then the error “You did not select any unit to deactivate” is received. No individual check boxes are listed when using IE 9, IE11, IE11 with compatibility mode, FireFox or Chrome. This has left servers unprotected for a week and a half with Tech Support not responding to requests for updates.
