  1. Hi I have a new PC and have installed ESS V9. The problem is however, when I "switch user" in Windows 10 I get a screen saying: Interactive Sign-In process initialization has failed. Check the event log for details At that point I can't click the OK button, and have to reboot the machine. This issue goes away if I disable the "Personal Firewall" in ESS. I also found this thread: https://forum.eset.com/topic/7345-is-eset-crashing-my-windows-10/ Where some people have had the same issue. I assume this is not a general issue as I did not have it before. However, it seems the issue seems to be introduced perhaps when installing ESS on a fresh Windows 10 build maybe? Wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this .
  2. Yes it does. I think I'll just leave the start up scan disabled. Thanks!
  3. Hi I have just purchased a brand new Windows 8.1 PC. So everything is fresh out of the box. It is a custom build from a smaller OEM so it has no bloatware, its a clean Windows 8.1 install. Problem is when I install NOD32 the system keeps freezing shorly after boot up, aka when it starts the "Start up scan". The icon is spinning around in the system tray. The only way to stop the freezing is to uninstall NOD32. I have tried installing again but this issue keeps occurring as soon as NOD32 is installed. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas on this?
