Just to clarify the serial is only used ONCE, once its used you will receive a username & Password for future use. so: Serial for a 1 year 1 user license: Install product > Activate using serial > keep email for future re-installation or upgrade. Serial for a 1 year 3 user license: Install product > Activate 1st machine using serial > Activate Second and third machines using the username and password emailed to you > keep email for future re-installation or upgrade.
  4. Have you set up any exclusions at all ? (folders or areas to NOT be scanned)

I would expect to see this on an uninfected standard bootsector: Scan Log Version of virus signature database: 10322 (20140827) Date: 27/08/2014 Time: 12:02:09 Scanned disks, folders and files: Boot sector Number of scanned objects: 2 Number of threats found: 0 Time of completion: 12:02:09 Total scanning time: 0 sec (00:00:00) Can i suggest a screenshot of an up to date signature and latest scan of boot sectors only?
  6. Note that not all rights (actions) are available for all device types. If a device has storage space, all three actions are made available. For non-storage devices, there are only two (e.g. Read Only action is not available for Bluetooth, so it means that device can be just allowed or blocked). What device are you trying to manage ?
  7. so are they receiving "Some" of the changes in the policy or NONE at all? Do you see that the policy is being applied in the client list in ERA? How are you applying the policy, manually assigned or associated with a group ? ( if you use the filters ot view the groups contents do you see those machines in the list? ) What version of ERAS and ERAC are you using please? What OS version are the clients and ARE the clients all running the same version of ESET, it could be that some clients are V4 and some are V5? (different sections in ERA configuration editor)
  8. Hi, Please make sure you enter your username and password EXACTLY as its printed in your email, taking "careful" note of capitilization and numbers 0 vx O, try copy and paste as long as you make sure you do not grab any extra spaces at the end of the username OR password.
