I confirm, for me also on Windows 11 eset from today blocks the brave browser. It's a pity that eset does NOT display a message that something is being blocked. I lost a few minutes before I checked the event log. Disabling browser protection in Eset immediately fixes brave. I use eset smart security premium with active pre-release updates Sorry for my English, I'm using a translator

Good morning, I have Eset Internet Security with pre-release updates active. Banking protection version 1305. Edge 112.0.1722.68 and Firefox 112.0.2 (Firefox installed from MS store). I set the eset in the banking orchron to NECESSARY EXTENSION. Unfortunately, despite the information that this does not affect already installed extensions, there is a problem with their update. There used to be a similar problem with Google Chrome and I think ESET fixed it. Now I noticed a similar problem in Edge (e.g. the malwarebytes browser guard extension did not update, after switching to all extensions in ESET everything updated. In Firefox I noticed that ublock origin could not update. In addition to the fact that there was a problem with the update, it created additional problem - every attempt to update the malwarebytes extension resulted in a new process, after a whole day of work there were several processes with malwarebytes..... Everything was fixed as I changed to all extensions in eset, malwarebytes updated correctly and I don't have these unnecessary processes anymore. Another problem I noticed is that the browser sometimes slows down a lot (I use Google Chrome most often and I notice it there), after switching to all extensions in eset the browser seems to work faster. Sorry for my English, I'm using a translator

I also use the Eset firewall in interactive mode and I also sometimes have to restart my computer because the firewall prompt does not appear. Most often this happens when working through a VPN with limited Internet connectivity or when there are several alerts from different programs at the same time. The problem has been present for several versions of Eset. I am currently using Eset Internet Security 16.0.24.0 and the problem persists. It's not often. But it happens. I formatted my computer in September. Clean install, new Eset install. I didn't improte anything. All rules re-created. It would be great if after entering Eset you can check "pending" alerts from the Eset firewall along with the option to approve / decline. Another problem with the Eset interactive firewall is that sometimes the Eset prompt appears, but there is no UAC alert to approve (or it appears with a long delay), so the application in question cannot access the internet because the rule cannot be approved ( I'm using a standard Windows account. The problem occurs on all my devices. Fortunately, this is not a common problem and in everyday use it happens very rarely, because most of the programs I use have hardcoded rules. Most often the problem occurs after a clean installation of Windows. Then I create a lot of rules (including the default about 200) and I usually have to restart the computer several times to save all the rules. Because either the Eset alert does not appear. Or no UAC alert and no ability to save the rule. Sorry for my english, i use google translate

Hi, I'm using Eset Internet Security 16.0.22.0 on Windows 11 22H2. I am using the firewall in intractive mode (it asks me for any new network traffic). I have a standard account (not admin), so I have to enter the Windows administrator password every time I add a new firewall policy. For a long time I have been observing the problem when I am connected to the corporate network via VPN. The corporate network is blocking access to the Internet. I can only use corporate resources during a VPN connection. If a new application tries to connect to the network during VPN connection, very often Eset displays an alert about new traffic (with the possibility of creating a new rule) and when trying to create a rule permanently, the field for entering the administrator password is not displayed. This problem does not occur if I have unlimited access to the Internet. When I work only in the corporate network (without the Internet), there is often no field to enter the password or it shows up with a long delay (2-3 minutes delay). As soon as a new rule is not created, the new application cannot access the network (not even this corporate network). I noticed that restarting the computer helps then, so usually when I use a new application (or the current application has updated) I have to restart my computer several times to create a new rule. I will add that the problem does not occur every time. Sometimes you can create a new rule without any problems. Sometimes I have to restart my computer 2-3 times before Eset "clicks" and the administrator password field appears. Another solution is to indicate that the application can connect to the network until it is disabled (temporary rule) then no administrator password is required so everything works OK. Can you fix Eset so that when Internet access is limited, the firewall in inactive mode always correctly asks for the administrator password (when using a standard Windows account)? Sorry for my english, i use google translator

Hi, I just installed Windows 11 22H2 as a clean install. After installation, I turned on the new smart app control option in Windows settings. After installing Eset Internet Security, I got a notification that a file from Eset was blocked by the smart app control and that Eset may not function properly as a result. Unfortunately, I accidentally closed the notification and I can't find any information about what exactly was blocked. So far I haven't noticed any problems. Besides this alert. Does Eset Internet Security support Windows 11 22H2 with Smart app control enabled? Sorry for my english, i use google translator.

@Marcos Are you trying to open a problem in a virtual machine? For me, it is impossible to reproduce this problem on a virtual machine, because Windows only sees the virtual graphics card and does not show its use. The problem only occurs on a "normal" computer. I suggest you check it on a regular computer with GPU, e.g. Nvidia. NO virtual machine

I have the same problem on several Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers, all after the fact. I did the test, I tested 1 computer with Windows 11 for about 3 weeks. It booted without, I turned on the GPU to boot, connected to the Internet, ONLY updated eset smart security (updated the definition of trust elements), restarted the computer and the GPU card does not have. I checked the pre-release eset updates, but nothing helps In addition, the GPU has stopped looking, it is impossible to check the whole process in the GPU control - 0%, although more precisely, that the GPU and the CPU were HIGHLY loaded Windows 10.0.19044 Nvidia GTX 1060, Windows 11 navigation Nvidia gt750 if I remember correctly

I confirm the problem on all browsers and computers on which Windows 10 has been updated today. I use wines 10 pro (19044.1645), checked on chrome 100.0.4896.88 and the latest edge and firefox. Eset BPP 1267 with stable updates, but I also checked after switching to initial eset updates and the same problem also occurs. That is, when you try to start the browser, it either pops up 0xc0000022 or the browser simply does not start when the option secure all browsers is enabled in eset. (only necessary extensions), with this option disabled, normal browsers can be enabled normally, but eset BPP will not start. Sometimes, after trying to run eset BPP, the normal browser stops working. So now, after updating Windows, it is impossible to use Eset BPP.

Why can't I install the Ublock Origin extension when using Eset Banking Protection? When I switch to eset to secure all browsers along with the necessary extensions setting, Ublock works correctly in every browser. Does this mean that the secure all browsers setting is less secure? Allows for more extensions than eset banking protection? I am using EIS 15.1.12.0, browser is Google Chrome 100, Windows 10
