  1. I've continued on with my own research, and I seemed to have fixed my son's computer I removed the Wajam program, and in doing so it also fixed my proxy server error message problem. On Windows 8, I went to the computer's Settings, then Control Panel, then Programs and Features. I scrolled down to Wajam, I right-clicked on it, and chose Uninstall/Change. A Wajam box popped up asking my why I was uninstalling it (ha! there was no "because it disabled my computer" option, so I clicked something else), then I clicked Next, and just like that Wajam was uninstalled and the internet began working again! Hope this helps anyone else with wajam problems.
  2. I see that I need "1 more approved post" before my previous post will be shown - in this second post I can give more info about the problem computer if that helps. It has Windows 8 and has had major virus and internet connectivity issues since day 1, and I think 99% of all his problems were solved when he switched from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome for his browser...but for whatever reason he used Internet Explorer the other day, and I'm wondering if that is related to this perpetual Wajam pop-up warning problem, and/or his current inability to connect to the internet. Thank you!
  3. I too have a "wajam" problem. I am unable to follow the steps above to send the log info because that computer is also unable to get onto the internet at this time. When I turn on my son's computer, I immediately get two pop-ups from ESET that continue to pop up one after the other, never stopping. The message in the pop up is: Potential Threat Found, Win32/Wajam.I, potentially unwanted application, unable to clean. The other pop up is the same message but regarding MSIL/Wajam.B. I do not know for sure if this issue is the reason I cannot get onto the internet on that computer. When trying to get onto the internet via Google Chrome, the error message states "Unable to connect to the proxy server". Please help!
