Email sent to ESET expressing security concerns on this issue.

The Adblockplus filter would look something like:
||forum.eset.com/public/js/3rd_party/swfupload/*
Voila
-
No screen captures but the below would be one that is attempting to flash the user.

Nope - Joe users are being Flashed and I'd like that feature removed.
Switch to the basic uploader siljaline.
-
I've noted and this is a concern - when using the attach files to upload feature a Adobe LSO is clearly seen.
Is this on the Invision board software ? And how can we get rid of it so that we are not flashed when we attach files in threads ? -

Windows Reliability History shows an unsuccessful installation as noted - the latter was successful - I suspect this was what caused the event flag.
Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: ESET Endpoint Antivirus. Product Version: 5.0.2225.0. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: ESET, spol. s r.o.. Installation success or error status: 1602.

Virus signature definitions should now be at 9401
Your software pings the ESET servers every 60 minutes by default (see screen capture)

Each download is clearly marked with a Live Installer or Offline Installer.
See screen captive (or) refer to above link (example) - -

Do you mean you're still getting this error after the computer was restarted? The protection status seems to be green so HIPS must be protecting your computer.
Yes - the error was seen one time post installation. HIPS is now working as there have been no events logged of this type since several additional reboots.
Appears to be fine for now but I'm going to leave the open as it may be a teething problem and not much else. Will report back as soon as I spot something.

A computer restart is required after an upgrade for new drivers to load. Perhaps the error is from a time when the computer wasn't restarted yet.
This was post reboot. HIPS is currently enabled in advanced setup. My installed components for your perusal in the event you may want to see them.

Thanks for letting us know you have had success with your issue. We appreciate your feedback and for visiting the NEW Forum.
-
Perhaps an issue ticket directly to ESET LLC would speed things along in lieu of the dragged out Forum process.
Just a thought.

* ESET Smart Security version 5 and higher will scan POP3/POP3S and IMAP/IMAPS email for the presence of malicious code while using Mozilla Thunderbird 6 and later or other email clients not listed above. Email will not be scanned for spam, however.
-
That's not to say one cannot use Mozilla Thunderbird in tandem with your ESET software.
I use the email software and have no issues.
Just because ESET does not support client integration should not be a company signal to stay away from the email software as it works fine for many I am aware of in the security sector.

Are your scheduled scans set correctly ?
-
Strongly suspect an issue with scheduling. I'll pass this along to one of the ESET experts that can further assist you.
Thank you for posting at the NEW Forum.

NOPE
Reversing any settings in order to allow a BitTorrent Client to function beyond the means and expectations of your anti virus soft may expose you to infections and worse.

It appeared to be a one-time only event and has gone away. I have renewed inspiration with ESET AV.
Screen capture attached to show all good here.
