CO Gal 59

Hi, I have an LG android, 7.0, kernel type(?), and have searched the site for over an hour to find another question similar to mine before opening a new topic myself. Would somebody please tell me honestly what benefits Eset for android has over other highly rated apps/programs? I dlnt have much experience with using antivirus/malware products other than what I'm using now and it does give a lot of services with free version. It's Security Master by Cheetah Mobile. I can upgrade to paid/premium but i wanted to ask those of you who know more than I do, what makes Eset your choice above all of the other security apps available? Please help an older woman who is not as computer/tech knowledgeable as most of you are.I thank you ahead of time for any replies...S.

Hi all, I just found ESET today while looking for apps for my Android Galaxy S4 phone and Windows XP PC... I am not very computer knowledgeable and would like to know if someone will kindly explain to me what a "root" is? How do I know if my phone has one? Thank you ahead of time.
