  1. A new version of ESET SysRescue has been released. See the ESET SysRescue Download page for more information and to download the tool. How do I use ESET SysRescue Live to clean my computer? Changelog Changed: ISO updated to isohybrid. Isohybrid enables the ability to create live USB via various available apps. Older versions of Live USB creator will not work because they are bound to a specific version of ISO Changed: Updated legal terms and sensitive information handling due to EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Changed: System updated to Ubuntu Xenial Xerus 16.04 LTS Changed: Updated UEFI boot and the ISO now supports both Legacy and UEFI mode booting Changed: Integration of the second El Torito image grub Changed: Additional minor changes and improvements Fixed: Invalid copyright value in startup splash
  2. Have you reviewed this Knowledgebase article How do I configure my Cyberoam® (a Sophos company) UTM device for use with ESET Secure Authentication?
  3. I see what you are saying. I don't want to speak for the Product Managers but I would say, the "official" support is announced in the product changelogs when the product is "officially" compatible. The KB documents any possible issues whether "officially" announced or not (before and after compatible build release). I can see why (for business products especially) having a single location (such as the KB) to say whether on a certain date it is officially compatible or not would be beneficial. I will see what I can do about updating content to address that.
  4. We have Windows 10 KB articles for Home and Business that we update if there is an issue with any of our products and Windows 10-- Home and Business: Known issues with ESET products and Windows 10 Home products: Upgrade to Windows 10 with your ESET product installed Business products: Upgrade to Windows 10 with ESET business products installed
  5. I'm glad you found it. For issues like this that necessitate a quick KB article, I'm toying with the idea of an RSS feed users can subscribe to for new KB articles, same as the ones already created for KB News, Alerts, Customer Advisories: Subscribe to ESET Knowledgebase Support News, Alerts and Customer Advisories I'm not sure how else we could get this info to users like you when you need it--let me know what you think, and we'll keep thinking too
  6. Have you tried to go through the steps in the KB article Optimize your device for Anti-Theft in ESET Windows home products?
  7. Depending on how you migrated to EMSX 6.5, you may have to recreate some configurations manually (user-defined rules, whitelists, blacklists, etc.). https://help.eset.com/emsx/6.5/en-US/idh_config_mailserver_rules.htm
  8. Correct, when the uPCU or PCU is available, you will get the notification in-product. Or sign up for KB News emails (rss) to be notified when the regular installer is available on the website.
  9. Current version of the installer is now 11.0.159, so you didn't do anything wrong. You can reinstall with the same license as many times as you need to.
  10. I see what you're saying, I think I'm experiencing the same thing, I don't see a change when I try to adjust the time from the Home > Reports section of https://parentalcontrol.eset.com/ I can't "Save" the changes but I can adjust from the Rules > Time limits for fun & games section. I'll forward this on to see what's going on.
  11. You should be able to adjust, per the table here https://support.eset.com/kb5555/ time budgets and time restrictions are available in the Free version. Is the category set to Fun & games? http://help.eset.com/epca/1/en-US/rules_appguard.html
  12. Yes definitely, overnight updates are "Coming later in 2018." jk But not jk, that's all the info I have at this time--I felt compelled to include that in the article as a placeholder so people are aware of all the current and planned update types, and so there is a central location to find this information. As more info comes, I will update the content in that KB article.
  13. https://support.eset.com/kb2885/ the download for .42.0 is the "same' as the .42.1, the latter is a "repacked build" and after the 42.0 updates the detection modules, they are the same version. More explanation about repacked versions and version numbers, see https://support.eset.com/kb2256/#RepackedBuildRelease
  14. Antispam functionality in ESET business products version 3 and 4 will soon expire. The end-of-life (EOL) for these products is March 31, 2018. See https://support.eset.com/kb3592/ to check the EOL status for your product. Products affected: ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server (version 4 and earlier) ESET Mail Security for IBM Domino (version 4 and earlier) ESET Smart Security Business Edition (version 4 and earlier) ESET Mail Security for Linux (version 4.0.10.0 and earlier) ESET File Security for Linux (version 4.0.10.0 and earlier) ESET Gateway Security for Linux (version 4.0.10.0 and earlier) After expiration, machines with versions 4 and earlier of these products will continue to be protected against malware, however the existing Antispam protection will no longer function. Important notice to users of ESET Remote Administrator: If you have installed versions 3 or 4, you also need to upgrade to the latest ESET Remote Administrator version to fully operate all your newly upgraded products. Migration/upgrade instructions File/Mail/Gateway Server products: https://support.eset.com/kb3580/#EMSX

  16. You can contact support (How can I contact my local ESET partner for support? ) and ask for the last version of your product. But if you have that installed already, then you don't need to do anything because the in-product upgrades won't install the new version yet. Fresh installs of the latest version are running without issues afaik.
  17. I think marcos meant that the in-product PCU update to the latest version has been halted -- the Live Installers still downloads the latest 11.1.42 version.
  18. I don't know if we have an "official" position on this posted, but afaik our outward-facing support content is written using US English as our style guide and that is why we use the American flag to denote that language record. Same with Spanish actually, we use the Spanish and not Mexican (for example) flag for the same reason (same with Brazilian Portuguese)--the flag represents the localization or style guide of reference, not the country of origin of the language. I realize this might be a fine distinction, but this is how we approach "localization" rather than "translation" when we match the record to a flag.
  19. The new version 11.1.4 is available via uPCU updates, regular release hasn't happened yet. ESET has changed (as you've noticed persian-boy) how we are releasing Home products updates/upgrades. I created a Knowledgebase article to help explain the new release strategy: https://support.eset.com/kb2256/ For uPCU releases, see description here https://support.eset.com/kb2256/#uPCUmicroupdate. Full changelog will be available with Full version release. Let me know if that helps or if you think that further info is needed.
  20. EAV v9 wasn't released before we migrated from Wilders, so I doubt those settings (from v7) would apply to 9.425.4. Maybe they would idk, but the old Wilders forum is still archived on Wilders, let us know what you find digging through there!
  21. Can you try using "has prefix". Also, tangentially related I think, this could be another option for getting that info...? https://support.eset.com/kb6164/
  22. Can you check if the option for Presentation Mode/Gamer Mode is enabled? If it is, try disabling it.
  23. If you run regular update does it go away are does it stay forever or until restart or something?
