  1. I have been watching your YT deployment channel and it seems to me that the easiest way to do it is to: 1. Migrate ERA 5 to ERA 6 (link) 2. Using ERA 6 push agents to all clients that are already in the database (link) Few questions in regards to this: - Will agents install on clients with running enpoint protection v5? - Would it be possible to remotely uninstall v5 using ERA v6? - Is deployment for Mac OS any different? Thanks,
  2. What if I do not run a domain? Is it possible to push Agents installation from ERA 5? I understand that once agents are installed, the communication between v5 client and ERA 5 ceases and somehow agent takes care of v5 client registering with ERA 6? I'm not bothered with updates as I'm happy for each client to get them directly from the internet. I only want them to still register with ERA to report any issues. Possible?
  3. It might sound like a cheeky upgrade plan but is it possible to push out v6 for Clients using the ERA v5, then once all clients are running v6, migrate ERA from v5 to v6 and 'discover' all machines again in ERA v6 web panel? I've done some testing already and it is possible to update windows client from v5 to v6 using ERA v5, but they lose connection with ERA after the upgrade, which is in line with the documentation.
  4. OK, I've updated all to the latest version, but the problem keeps reoccurring. Any ideas?
  5. Updated to the latest version 5.2.26. I will clear the last warning tab and see if the message comes back.
  6. I see a lot of Mac OS clients (different versions) with this event warning in the Admin Console "Error updating Antivirus modules: Could not connect to server". It's worth to mention that not all Mac OS clients have been affected and the message can't be pin down to one specific version of OS. At the same time, all clients report up-to-date database files. Problem does not affect Windows based machines. ESET NOD32 4.1.97 Server 5.2.22 Any ideas?
  7. Firefox 33.0.2 ESET Endpoint Security ver 5.0.2237.0 Internet Protection Module: 1144 Where can I check if pre-release updates are enabled?
  8. Hi, I have noticed that enabling Web Access Protection for https:// will cause Firefox to treat every https:// website as an untrusted page. The same web page (or any https web page) will load fine in Chrome or IE. Has any one had similar problem? ESET is configured to block *spotify.com*
  9. Hello, Yes it worked, thanks a lot. I've also discovered that there is a music player from spotify. Anyone knows how to block the app that is locally installed???
  10. I believe, I have applied SSL scanning, but still no joy, please check:
  11. Hello, I have tried to use URL address management to block spotify website. I've added the url to the list of blocked URLs, applied changes, even rebooted PC, but still https://www.spotify.com/uk/ loads with no problem whatsoever. Any suggestions? Screen shots attached. Config Website Thanks, pipboy
  12. How long does it take to push configuration changes from server to clients? I've made a mistake during the initial push installation and now I'm trying to send updated configuration for clients. So far, 20 minutes and state is still set 'active'. Is it somehow related to "suppress user settings" as well, cause maybe that is blocking the config changes? Cheers,
  13. OK, it was down to the configuration. I had to change the IP address of the server, where the ESET Server is installed, but forgot to reflect the change in the client's configuration.
  14. Hello, I have managed to successfully configure the server, mirror link, packages etc. I have also pushed installation to two clients. All seems to be working fine on the client's side, including update from the mirror server, but for some reason 'clients' tab is not updating itself. Any idea what could be the reason for this? Regards, pipboy3000
