Yes, just install v8 and enable pre-release udpates to get modules compatible with Windows 10.
After going through the steps to enable the pre-release option in Eset setup. It would not let me save the changes. Something about not having the proper permission. I've tried to figure out how to log in to Win 10 as an administrator without any success and have tried to provide myself with the necessary permissions, but no luck. I'm giving up.............

I might add that I've tried everything to enable me to log int Win 10 as an administrator, but have had no luck. Maybe it's not possible........

Hello gozonablat, In NOD32, go to "Setup > Enter advanced setup... > Update > Settings", select "Pre-release update", then click "OK". Now update NOD32. Once update has completed, you will now have the pre-release modules that should be compatible with Windows 10.
Kent......well I did what you recommended, but when I got to the last step I was refused the option to save my changes. Looks like I need to learn how to log into Win 10 as an administrator. Looking into how to do that now. Any help???

OK...........thanks. Will give it a try and see how it goes.
OK.......I've installed V8, but I'm not quite sure what you mean by "enable pre-release updates". If you mean within Win 10, then I've already done that. If something else then please advise. I don't see anything within V8 that mentions that option. Thanks again...........

I'm using the Windows 10 Preview installation for evaluation and would like to use my Eset Nod 32 subscription for this computer that used to have Win Vista on it. Can I do that easily?
Windows 10 Preview

I'm sorry, but none of this makes any sense to me at all. I understand your suggestion to on trying to close the equi.exe, but when I type in ESET in the "new?" start menue I don't get anything like what you are suggesting. I'm going to just give up on trying to figure this baloney out. Thanks for your help.
