Marcus, Unfortunately, as I advised Peter during the beta testing for this product: a) Mullvad VPN is not supported by ESET Endpoint Antivirus 10.0.3.0, and Web Access Protection blocks Mullvad VPN. Other customers have highlighted this. b) Also, Web Access Protection blocks access to various devices on our 192.168.1.0/24 network. c) I requested if it was possible to disable ESET Endpoint Antivirus 10.0.3.0 Web Access Protection. I doubt it, but again I ask, Is it possible to disable Web Access Protection? NB: We are not using ESET Protect. My third request: Please define: what is meant by "tiny footprint"?

URL: https://help.eset.com/eeau/7/en-US/index.html states "ESET's state-of-the-art scanning engine has unsurpassed scanning speed and detection rates combined with a tiny footprint that makes..........................." Please define: what is meant by "tiny footprint"? Ubuntu 22.04 LTS: We have observed scand using 850 MB of memory. Today 2023-07-27-

Peter Randziak advised: "To mention just few of the new features and improvements." Where is the changelog presenting all the new features and improvements? The Beta version blocks Mullvad VPN 2023.3 for Linux with Wireguard Obfuscation set to UDP over TCP, and Quantun-resistant tunnel set to on. Will the custom scan be integrated with the supported Linux file managers, thus eliminating the need to type the path?

ESET PROTECT Essential On-Prem. Upgraded to EEA_10.0.2.0 10.0.2.0 on a test machine. Web access protection to scan HTTP and HTTPS communication blocks access to HTTP sites on a 192.168.1.0/24 network. When I run: sudo systemctl stop eea.service, able to access the blocked websites. When I run: sudo systemctl start eea.service, unable to access the blocked websites. Downgraded back to 9.1.4.0.

Installation of Eset Endpoint Antivirus on Ubuntu 22.04
azeu666 replied to centroid's topic in ESET Endpoint Products
Had I not been following this topic then I would not have been aware of this upgrade. Eset should be pushing out this upgrade information to business customers. Customers using this product will have registered and as part of the registration process, a customer provides an e-mail address. Other software companies advise registered users that an upgrade is available. -

Installation of Eset Endpoint Antivirus on Ubuntu 22.04

I agree with avielc and eab's well presented rational comments. Eset has no idea how businesses function and they fail to comprehend our needs. -

Can you be more specific as to day and is a changelog available for business customers to review? -

My apologies I forget add that we use www.securiteinfo.com (Pro) integrated with ClamAv as well. -

I use Endpoint Antivirus for Linux with its inherent limitations (no Pico updates) not Eset Internet Security. When I scanned the two files with the existing detection engine, the two malware files were not detected. Also, when I used: https://opentip.kaspersky.com/ and ClamAv using the Yara rule set from open source- https://www.reversinglabs.com/products/open-source-yara-rules There was no issue in detecting the so-called "This one is corrupted, ie. not subject to detection." -
