There are mixed multiple layers and features, to clarify them:
ESET Browser Privacy & Security = browser extension with privacy and security features for visited websites and user data/settings Safe Banking & Browsing = protected browser that allows you to run isolated browser instance from desktop shortcut, or protect existing browser when Secure all browsers setting is On Regarding to blocked file, wait 1-2 days for ESSP 17.1 update where you will have a possibility to manually allow blocked file on your own. When you trust your vendor that inject that file to your browser, you will be able to allow it. Of course such action may brings browser unstability, but when something goes wrong, you will know what products are in conflict, how did you do that and how to restore it back.

Yes, it's necessary to install the extension from the Chrome web store as we respect user's choice and do not offer installation of the extension again after the user has removed it.

ESET Browser Privacy & Security extension doesn't work without ESET product and for now there are some technical reasons in the background, why another Chromium/Firefox based browsers are not supported. We know about it and we're working on it so I believe you will see the extension working on Brave soon.

We didn't deny the issue. In a post above I wrote:
This is a known issue that occurs after automatic update of ESET NOD32 Antivirus to v17.
We are working on a hotfix that should be available soon. Neither ESET Internet Security nor ESET Smart Security or ESET Security Ultimate are affected.

After manually checking for updates the auto-type is working again. (tested only with FF 115.5.0 ESR)

Fix is released on all update channels so there is no need to change settings. If you have a problem after module update, please restart (all running) browsers or PC, if browser restart doesn't work. Otherwise let us know that issue still persist, ideally with ELC log from affected PC.

Brave browser is not supported. From which browser is this screenshot and how did you install it?

I will ket you know, when current module fix will be fully released (but I think change of module update server setting fom pre-release to release doesn't downgrade modules)

Made no difference w/the ThinkPad wireless kbd driver removed.  Still see the error randomly.
Today it happened in the CTRL-F search box at the bottom of FF.  Will try to gather those logs at some point.

You "beat me to the posting punch." I was just going to post this is exactly what I was going to do in Firefox settings for isolated browser mode.

BPP doesn't block Widevine plugin neither in SecureAllBrowsers mode, nor in isolated browser (BPP running from desktop shortcut). Use of this plugin is part of Firefox default settings. If you don't plan to watch Netflix in BPP, you can disable it in your Firefox settings > General > Digital Rights Management (DRM) Content - uncheck Play DRM-controlled content

And why the update was sitting in Firefox's cache the way you mentioned? When it's not blocked by ESET, it's upon Firefox to handle plugin/cache/update based on their implementation.

I expect that @Alperhas Secure all browsers feature On. In this case disable HTTP protocol filtering indeed fix the issue with clipboard paste. But I believe that when you disable HTTP filtering, you also see yet another warn - Banking & Payment protection is non-functional.
This is not a bug, but a side effect of protecting against one family of banking trojans. We will modify this protection so that it doesn't interfere with normal copy-paste actions.
