  1. A colleague of mine has a similar Samsung SSD disk but didn't encounter any performance issue after installing v8. Does renaming C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ehdrv.sys and C:\Windows\System32\drivers\eamonm.sys in safe mode, one at a time, make a difference? Well, I removed the version 7 and did the test again with version 8, the same problem occurs. One possible solution was disable Scan on File open and File creation (Image on the link below) hxxp://i.imgur.com/k1xIp9u.png In this way I have no loss of performance, and it works as if I had disabled the antivirus.
  2. Did you run a first time scan on this SSD before running that benchmark ? And are you using V8 ?? Strange thing for me was that my benchmark actually slowed down when protection disabled Protection Enabled =============== hxxp://s15.postimg.org/c28b8c6zv/avon.jpg Protection Disabled =============== hxxp://s12.postimg.org/dsz5f8lwd/avoff.jpg Yes, first scan completed, and I use the Version 7. At least you could detect the same problem.
  3. Just to give my opinion on the performance of the system with NOD32. Here I have a performance drop using the Samsung EVO 500GB SSD with NOD32 version 7 and real-time protection enabled. Protection Enabled hxxp://i.imgur.com/JRIg6As.png Protection Disabled hxxp://i.imgur.com/xzzIxwC.png So there really is a drop in performance.
