  1. Hi there, I understand that ESET team isn't keen on commenting on potential issues with their macOS products if using the beta OS. However, just wanted to enquire whether you are able to tell when will the beta of ESET Endpoint Security for Ventura land?
  2. The only thing that fixes the above is completely uninstalling Endpoint Security or killing all of its processes (including removing Proxy from the `Network` pref pane). Since software update process on Mac uses port 443 for all of its operations, we suspect it might have a problem with the local eset proxy (possibly with its cert). And yes, internet access is maintained across the system
  3. Hi there, I know this was raised several times (ie here ). But we are still having the same issues across some of our Macs (not all of them). Issue persists on Silicon and Intel macs. Users get the usual popup (below). When we remotely uninstall ESET Endpoint Security the issue is no more (fortunately MDM is reinstalling software after the update). Can we get a definitive fix or a guide on how to set web&email policies in the ESET protect to mitigate this issues, please. Additional info: - all affected endpoints are running ESET Endpoint Security 6.11.1.0 - we have tried adding both /Applications/Install macOS Monterey.app and /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Monterey.app to the `Excluded Applications` in the `Protocol Filtering` section of the web&email policy. Thx
  4. tbh it just works when all those are added, mind you there are problems with M1 macs and big sur 11.2 - 11.4 fixes that. also no problem with Intel-based Macs on BigSur. What you might try is to scrap the system extension profile and rebuilt from scratch with values from the guide and try then. From my experience with WS One, rebuilding App, Profile etc seems to do the trick (not sure why adding version doesn't work, but hey, it's not Jamf )
  5. There's a great guide here using plist or you can setup using PPPC profile (privacy preferences profile) and system extension (for Big Sur+) and kernel extension for (Catalina and below) https://help.eset.com/ees_mac/6.10/en-US/install_remote.html here's a snippet on how this needs to look like for PPPC and this for System Extension (ie proxy allowance) This will take some time to apply unfortunately so test on your sandbox (VM or non production laptop) first ps. It took us 6 months to finally get it work, mainly on our own 😕
