  1. Hey everyone, I just receive a quote from my distributor, with the same issue. The price increase is huge. Got +100 devices protect with Endpoint Security. Will definitely search for another security product, as this price increase is unacceptable. What the f* is going on at ESET headquarters to proceed such a BS move ?
  2. I didn't install ODBC, the system came as a virtual machine. The fact that Mysql can't start might be related to the version of ODBC ? ODBC 8.0(w) Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server Obviously if the SQL server is down, ODBC can't connect. Mysql is down and won't start. All the errors are in my first post. Best regards
  3. Hello, Since a few days, I have a problem with my ERA virtual appliance. It was working great since years, but I guess since the last update mysql is down and won't start. I'm logged into the webmin, Servers -> MySQL Database Server - MySQL version 5.6.50 MySQL error message The full MySQL error message was : connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)' Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' exists! If I click on the button 'Start mysql server' Failed to start database : Redirecting to /bin/systemctl start mariadb.service Failed to start mariadb.service: Unit not found. I have no idea what to do, it was working fine since years. When I run the ESET PROTECT diagnostic tool, it gives this message ERROR executing task ActionConfiguration, error: [unixODBC][MySQL][ODBC 8.0(w) Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (111) (2003) The login page is up but when I start to connect it gives this message loginConnectionStateNotConnected What can I do ? Best regards
  4. Hello, I was able to fix the problem by rolling back to ESET Endpoint Security 6.8.2.0 Best regards agaufres
  5. Hello, Do I am the only one having kernel panic with ESET ? I'm about to drop the product as there's no solution and looks like no one cares.
  6. Hello Marcos, Do you know what a Kernel panic is ? Do you understand that ESET Log Collector will crash with the computer and no report will be made ?
  7. I guess the only solution is to cancel my ESET subscription and uninstall the product. Thanks for the support.
  8. Hello Marcos, Thanks for your help. Yes I'm running Endpoint 6.10.460.1 Unfortunately High Sierra 10.13.x is the definitive last Mac OS version for my late 2011 Macbook. Fully upgraded still works like a charm except this issue. Best regards
  9. Dear ESET Support Team, Since a few weeks, I got an issue on my Macbook Pro, on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 While streaming to Airplay, my computer froze and I got a kernel panic, with the following report. It looks like nothing changed around the Airplay service and the OS has not been updated recently. Is there some exclusion or rules that I can make to prevent this from happening ? Do you see something interesting on the report ? Best regards Agaufres
