As per kb8515 ESET PROTECT 11.0+ should be capable of running on OpenSSL3+ based linux distributions, but there are certain limitations in certificates is is actually using, especially in case older operating systems are being managed in the network.

As you mentioned, there is a problem with MySQL ODBC driver, which is probably still using using older openssl or other dependencies are missing (might be verified for example using ldd command line utility). If this is the case, I would recommend to "consult" with documentation of MySQL ODBC driver or linux distribution, depending of the source of the used ODBC driver. It is possible later version of ODBC driver will be required to be used, or dependency will have to be resolved otherwise.

I've got a reply to my queries from developers. As for the issue with sorting, as of v10 a different way of product choice is used and no sorting is done. Upgrading to ESET PROTECT to v10 should "fix" it.
As for the other problem with EEAL v9.1.4.0 disappearing from the list, it was a repository glitch last week that was likely causing this and should be already fixed.

A new version of Endpoint with support for Ubuntu 22.04 is scheduled for the next week.

So basically Marcos you gave a timeline but it's not definitive. 
I can understand that, these things takes time and a lot of testings to avoid needing a hotfixes to be pushed due to a complete break. 
Marcos would you mind updating this thread once the service is out? (I don't mind you dropping a link to the release notes without adding another word, this would really be helpful to know what's has changed)
Also if there is any place with a more technical details on such major changes (e.g. libssl issues) where there could be an explanation on what is working and what isn't (to avoid installing something broken per our usecase. that would be really REALLY helpful and a great addition to service to ESET customers.

We didn't promise to release it in September. It will take a few weeks, we don't give any precise ETA since there are many variables that affect the release date.

Is there any pre-versions for ubuntu 22.04 yet? i just encountered the problem, ofc in the Protect repository 9.0.5 the latest. 
i Understand the supported version come sept-oct. I'm just curious if there's anything new.

The release has been delayed by a few days due to the release of hotfixes for older versions 8.x.
